Tour Description
Our summer vacation in June 2018. We had a day in the Czech town Plzen at the beginning of our tour. See separate photograph series!
After, we spent a few days in the West Bohemian Spa Triangle: In Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázne, Cheb and Františkovy Lázne before we continued
our tour in Saxony (Germany). They are really phantastic locations with impressing architecture and they are best equipped for optimal recovery!
Karlovy Vary
We had our hotel room here for a number of days. Therefore, this town was the starting point of our daily tours in this region.
Karlovy Vary is surely the most important town of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle and impresses by its architecture and regeneration facilities.
A funicular trip to the Diana lookout and to the butterfly garden are worth to be done too.
Mariánské Lázne
We visited the large park with the main colonnade and the Singing Fountain. This was really nice.
Cheb and Chebský Hrad
At first, we wanted to visit the town center. However, we decided just to see the Church of St. Nikolaus and Elisabeth because of the upcoming rain.
Then, we went to Chebský Hrad, where the weather got better finally. There is a great view to the town Cheb from the top of the Black Tower.
Františkovy Lázne
This was for sure the most quiet place of the whole region. Nevertheless, there it was very nice too.
